Why I Started Ivy Row

Over the past few years, I’ve found myself paying closer attention to the kinds of spaces and moments that make people feel at home.

Not perfect spaces.
Not extravagant ones.

Just thoughtful ones.

A porch with soft evening light.
A table set simply but intentionally.
A small town coffee shop with warmth and character.
A home that feels peaceful the moment you walk through the door.

I think many of us are longing for that right now more than we realize.

Life has felt loud and heavy in so many ways lately, and I’ve realized how deeply our surroundings shape us. The spaces we live in, gather in, rest in, and welcome others into affect not only our homes, but our hearts.

Ivy Row grew out of that realization.

It’s a place to explore beauty, home, belonging, thoughtful travel, porch living, and the slower rhythms that help us feel grounded again. It’s about cultivating spaces that feel lived in and welcoming rather than rushed or performative.

And quietly underneath all of it is my faith.

I believe we're drawn to beauty because we were created by a beautiful and creative God. And I think there's something in all of us that longs for peace, welcome, and belonging because those things echo the home we were ultimately made for.

I don’t want Ivy Row to feel loud or overly polished. I want it to feel honest. Calm. Thoughtful. Like a deep breath.

A place that invites people to slow down a little.

A place that feels like home.

I’m grateful you’re here at the beginning.
